I am from 7 countries but has no education background (7th grade through university)
Unfortunately, the Korean government requires that those coming to Korea to teach English to be citizens of one of the 7 Native English Speaking countries (USA, Canada, UK, Ireland, South Africa, Australia, or New Zealand). In addition, they are expected to have been educated from the 7th grade through university education level at an educational institution from the 7 Native English Speaking countries. This is not a rule from Korvia Consulting but is a stipulation set forth by the Korean government as well as the Immigration office.
We are offering mostly public school teaching jobs in South Korea and they have a stricter screening process than ordinary ESL employment opportunities.
