I have not gone to get a background check. I know a lot of places to get a CBC are closed because of the Corona virus coming to the states. How can I still get a CBC, am I too late?

  We hope that's not going to be the case. However, unfortunately, criminal background check is a must regardless. We will inform you as soon as we have any updates.

• I am a US citizen currently living in the UK, do I need to get a background check done in the US or can I get it done in the UK

  Because you are US citizen coming with US passport, you have to send your US CBC. However, if you have stayed in UK for more than 2 years, you will be requested to send UK CBC as well.

• Do you know if the virus lockdown has slowed down EPIKs hiring process? Are schools in South Korea closed right now?

  Korean schools are closed until April 5th for now. We have no idea if they will be opened after that, but even though they don't the EPIK process will go on

• Do you require a national or international criminal background check from South Africa?

  If you are currently not in the 3rd country for more than 2 years, EPIK only requires 1 criminal background check as national level.

• For UK CBC you put Disclosure Scotland as the link to use on your website, do we need to use them specifically or will the English version Disclosure and Barring Service be ok?
