How to apply for K-ETA (Korea Travel Authorization)
What is K-ETA? (Korea Travel Authorization)
If you are from a country that can travel to Korea without a Visa, you need to fill out K-ETA before boarding your flight. Since March 3rd 2022, you need to prepare K-ETA before visiting Korea.
K-ETA is valid for two years and you don't have to fill out an arrival card anymore.
Step 1 - Visit the website or download a K-ETA app
Visit www.k-eta.go.kr website and fill out an online application form or download a Mobile app for K-ETA.
You must apply K-ETA at least 24 hours before boarding your aeroplane or a ship.

Step 2 - Fill out an online application form
Select your country and provide passport information
Purpose of Stay and address in Korea is required
Email address is required and confirmation will be notified by email that you provided.
Step 3 - Complete a payment
You have to complete payment and the fee is 10,000KRW (VAT is not included)
Step 4 - Check your result
The ministry of justice of Korea will review the application and confirm your result within 24 hours.
Application results will be sent by email and you can check the result on the website.

K-ETA is valid for 2 years for multiple entries and you don't have to write arrival cards after obtaining K-ETA.
*This K-ETA process is for traveller visa therefore E2 visa holders are not required for this process.
